Maximize Your Media Reach

Make sure that your story is noticed by the 1,400+ news media at the 2019 NAB Show

Effective public relations can strengthen your brand, bolster your sales and enhance your marketing initiatives. NAB Show attracts more than one thousand journalists looking for what is new and innovative – to ensure that your company and products gain media attention, you should be aware of and fully utilize the press opportunities provided by NAB’s media relations team

  1. Download the registered press list:

Send individual pitches to reporters, identify members of the media whose audience most aligns with company goals, and invite journalists to exhibit booths or news conferences.

Sign into the exhibitor dashboard to download the latest press list.

  1. Submit content for coverage in the NAB Show Daily News:

Future US is the official NAB Show Daily News publisher. The NAB Show Daily News is distributed onsite at NAB Show on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Las Vegas Convention Center, as well as to select official convention hotels on Monday and Tuesday.

The NAB Show Daily News is an excellent opportunity to promote new product releases or make special announcements.

Contact NAB Show Daily News Editor Terry Scutt.

  1. Hold an onsite news conference:

Make product announcements and break news to media and industry analysts by holding a news conference in the NAB Show Press Briefing Room (N242). Exhibitors can reserve the room in one-hour slots, free of charge.

View the news conference schedule here.

Download the room scheduling form here. Once completed, email the form to Dan Lemle.

  1. Promote a press event:

Exhibitors can promote press events taking place at NAB Show by listing the event on the official news conference schedule, a resource widely used by reporters.

Email details (company, booth number, company PR contact, event location, date and time) to Dan Lemle to have the event listed.

  1. Post press releases directly to the exhibitor directory:

Exhibiting companies whose directory listing is the silver package or above may post press releases to the exhibitor directory. This opportunity makes content available to all NAB Show attendees and press.

Visit the exhibitor dashboard for more information and to upgrade.

  1. Distribute online press kits and press releases through Business Wire:

Business Wire is the official wire distribution and online press kit provider for NAB Show. Offering support for media outreach efforts, Business Wire can distribute news through a patented system to digital, print and broadcast newsrooms, attending media, consumers, financial and news portals, websites, news syndicators, social media networks, bloggers and the exhibitor news archive hosted by Business Wire.

Exhibitors may also submit a free 100-word exhibitor profile. Email tradeshow@businesswire.com to receive the profile template or ask questions.

Applying the above tactics will ensure your company’s message is amplified to the over 100,000 global media, entertainment and technology professionals at NAB Show and well beyond, with additional reach through earned media coverage.
